"The Professor" is Charlotte Brontë's first novel, focusing on the journey of William Crimsworth, an Englishman who becomes a teacher in Belgium. The story explores themes of ambition, independence, and love as Crimsworth navigates the challenges of a foreign land and relationships. Though less known than her other works, it showcases Brontë's early talent.

Absolutely gorgeous books! I was worried they would arrive damaged, but they were perfect. I hate to pay the shipping costs, but the UK covers are far better than the US ones that are releasing in September.
